Citrix viewer network problems

The issue is fixed in our environment! Please check the link below Our department manager has several computers he is using for all sorts of purposes and he demands being able to switch computers and take over his existing session with no failures. Is this how it its? Is there a limitation when it comes to taking over an active session from another computer as it seems to not work in our environment? The session always needs to be gracefully disconnected for the reconnection to occur properly. It feels like there's some sort of graceful disconnect or the VDA having to wait a little to be able to do away with the previous session and prep up for the new one (As mentioned, takes 10 seconds or so). If the launch happens within the first 10 seconds after disconnection occurs, the connection fails with aforementioned errors. We have also come to the conclusion that if people disconnect from their session gracefully either using the X button on the upper right, or the "Disconnect" option on the Desktop Viewer Panel, they can successfully reconnect to their disconnected session upon launching the published desktop approximately after 10 seconds. However, the session isn't restored and people keep seeing the gray screen inside the Desktop Viewer. We sometimes get the "Connection Restored" prompt on the bottom right corner. The first attempt always ends up with an error message and is never successful, though. I was able to mitigate the issue to the point where users weren't constantly getting "Connection Interrupted" messages after launching the published desktop where there's a disconnected session on and was able to establish a successful connection after a couple of attempts. I've tinkered with Session reliability timeout settings, however, to no avail.

#Citrix viewer network problems windows 7

Users are trying to connect to VDA 7.14.1 running on Windows 7 圆4 through Citrix Receiver versions above 4.7. When launched directly via Storefront, "The connection to Desktop failed with status (Unknown client error 0)" is the error that pops up. When launched via Netscaler Gateway, "The connection to Desktop failed with status (Unknown client error 1110)" is the error we are getting. The Desktop Viewer displays mostly a gray screen with "Connection Interrupted" on the upper right and a timer counts down from 5 minutes, presumbaly waiting for network connection although the network connectivity has never gone down for the entriety of the process. When someone tries to switch computers and take over an existing session from another computer, or even launching the same published desktop on the same computer, Receiver gives all sorts of different errors depending on the Citrix policy configuration. This is a problem that we have been having for a quite a while now.
